Description An outdoor arts and countryside festival for May Day. 2 linear miles of the River Yar animated with arts installations, soundscapes, traditional countryside crafts to try your hand, lots to see and do and learn, May Day entertainments, folk dancing and more.
Walk it, cycle it or ride it. Great Family Day out!
Isle of Wight Mardi Gras. The Story of Carnival!

Venue Ryde, Isle of Wight.
Description Our flagship carnival in education project a spectacular parade of over 1000 children and adults, with live music, choreography and colourful hand made costumes.

This years event will depict the Story of Carnival, from its early beginnings in Ancient Egypt to a Vision for the Future. Travels the world and back again. Contains a unique section of costumes inspired by IW carnival traditions, funded through the National Lottery Heritage fund.
